# data4ai

> data4ai provides structured, AI-ready datasets for AI agents and developers: pro esports match results, upcoming matches with Elo ratings and win probabilities, team form and tournament tiers, plus public freelance job postings. Access is via a remote MCP server (OAuth 2.1, works with Claude and ChatGPT), a REST API (JSON:API style) and n8n. Pricing is pay-as-you-go: 25 free API credits per month, then $0.02 per credit ($20 monthly minimum).

## MCP server (for AI agents)

- Endpoint: `https://data4ai.xyz/mcp` — Streamable HTTP, stateless, JSON responses.
- Authentication, option A — OAuth 2.1 (recommended for Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code): add the URL as a custom connector and click Connect. The client discovers `https://data4ai.xyz/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource/mcp` and `https://data4ai.xyz/.well-known/oauth-authorization-server`, registers itself dynamically (`https://data4ai.xyz/oauth/register`), and the user logs in to data4ai and approves access. No API key is needed.
- Authentication, option B — API key (Cursor, VS Code, n8n, scripts): send `Authorization: Bearer <API_KEY>` (keys start with `d4a_`). `X-Api-Key: <API_KEY>` is also accepted. Get a key at https://data4ai.xyz/signup (free).
- Billing: every tool call costs 1 API credit from the connected account, except `list_esports_games`, which is free. If credits run out, the tool returns an error with an upgrade link — tell the user.

### Tools

- `search_esports_results` — finished matches (newest first) with scores, winner, both teams' Elo and the tournament tier. Filters: game, team, tournament, from, to (YYYY-MM-DD), limit, offset.
- `get_upcoming_esports_matches` — scheduled and live matches (soonest first) with `prediction.elo_win_probability` and `prediction.market_win_probability` as [team1, team2]. Same filters.
- `search_esports_teams` — teams sorted by Elo, with region and last-10 form (wins, losses, streak). Filters: game, name, region, limit.
- `get_esports_team` — a full team profile: recent results with scores, roster and achievements. Arg: id (e.g. `cs2-natus-vincere`).
- `search_esports_tournaments` — tournaments with tier (S/A/B…), prize pool and dates.
- `search_freelance_jobs` — public freelance postings: title, company, category, budget, tags, location, language. Filters: q, category, tag, location, language, min_budget, from, limit.
- `get_freelance_job` — one job with its full description and how to apply. Arg: id (UUID).
- `list_esports_games` — index of the dataset: per game, number of teams, tournaments, active tournaments and matches. Free. Call this first.

Game slugs: counter-strike-2, league-of-legends, valorant, dota-2, age-of-empires, brawl-stars, ea-sports-fc.

## REST API

Base URL: `https://data4ai.xyz/api/v1`. Auth: `X-Api-Key: <API_KEY>` or `Authorization: Bearer <API_KEY>`. 1 credit per successful (2xx) call. Responses: `{ "data": [...], "meta": { "total", "limit", "offset" } }`.

- `GET /esports/results` — finished matches
- `GET /esports/matches/upcoming` — scheduled/live matches with win probabilities
- `GET /esports/matches/{id}` — one match
- `GET /esports/teams`, `GET /esports/teams/{id}` — teams, Elo, form
- `GET /esports/games` — index: teams, tournaments, active tournaments and matches per game (free)
- `GET /esports/tournaments?status=active` — tournaments with status (active / upcoming / finished), tier and matches
- `GET /jobs/freelance`, `GET /jobs/freelance/{id}` — freelance jobs

Errors: 400 invalid params · 401 bad key · 402 free credits used up · 404 not found · 429 monthly cap reached · 503 dataset temporarily unavailable (not charged).
